Keeping Basic Reptiles Course

ERD's Keeping Basic Reptiles Course is aimed at first time or new reptile keepers who wish to learn how to properly care for their new reptile. It is relevant for all species of reptile that can be sold through Queensland pet shops. This includes Spotted Pythons, Childrens Pythons, Stimsons Pythons, Blue Tongue Skinks, Central Bearded Dragons, Short and Long Neck Freshwater Turtles, Barking Geckos and Cunninghams Skinks. Topics covered include the following -

- Permits and Record Keeping

The course goes for 7 hours, and is jam packed with loads of info, interaction with animals, PowerPoint presentations and audience participation. It is limited to 25 adults, with one child (over 8 years old) per adult allowed to attend free of charge. The course is fully catered, with coffee, tea and bottled water available throughout the day, and a fresh lunch provided. The cost of the course is just $90 per person. For an additonal fee, we are able to supply a custom enclosure and all the equipment you will need for whatever species of reptile you wish to purchase. We can also organise the purchase of your new pet, if you like!
